Live Rural Up-skill Scholarships Program 2017
Live Rural is offering two scholarships in 2017 for people on farm to up skill in studies that will enable them to contribute to the productivity of the farming business they work within and the Australian agricultural industry.
Mellow In The Yellow was an event held in Tatyoon that successfully raised funds to provide these two scholarships to local farming communities. The event also raised funds for the the National Centre for Farmer Health based in Hamilton Victoria, donating $5,000. The Live Rural Scholarship will provide each successful applicant with funding up to the value of $2,000 to assist with his or her studies. The scholarship funding aims to support the winning applicants with covering expenses such things as course costs and accommodation costs. The scholarship criteria stipulate that the applicant:
